Depart ancient Hội An along tranquil rural backroads. Explore millennium-old Cham brick towers, watch local families hand-pressing rice paper and firing traditional earthen brick kilns, visit a colorful Cao Đài temple, and enjoy sweet pineapples cut fresh at roadside farms. Ascend into the foothills of the Ho Chi Minh Highway through dramatic mountain passes and jungle waterfalls before checking into your hotel in the mountain town of Khâm Đức.

Day 2

Khâm Đức → Lo Xo Pass → Triêng Bamboo Bridges → Charlie Hill → Kon Tum (175 km)

Ride the winding asphalt curves of the renowned Lo Xo Pass through pristine cloud forest. Walk across traditional bamboo monkey bridges to meet remote Giẻ-Triêng villagers. Continue along the historic Indochina Tri-Border corridor, surveying wartime relics including Phoenix Airfield, Charlie Hill, and the Đắk Tô battleground before arriving at the riverside town of Kon Tum.

Day 3

Kon Tum → Bahnar Rông Houses → Wooden Cathedral → Sea Lake → Buôn Ma Thuột (230 km)

Step inside Kon K'Tu village to admire the majestic 30-meter thatched Rông communal house. Visit the miraculous 1930 French Romanesque Wooden Cathedral constructed entirely without nails. Ride to the 'Eyes of Pleiku' — the ancient volcanic caldera of Biển Hồ (Sea Lake). In the afternoon, cruise under cathedral-like canopies of towering rubber plantations, black pepper vines, and cashew groves into the coffee capital of Buôn Ma Thuột.

Day 4

Buôn Ma Thuột → Dray Sáp / Dray Nur Waterfalls → Elephant Rock → Lak Lake (125 km)

An unforgettable morning at Vietnam's most thunderous volcanic waterfalls: Dray Sáp and Dray Nur. Explore volcanic caves and take a refreshing swim in crystal-clear fairy pools. Trek up the monolithic granite dome of Elephant Rock Mountain for a 360-degree highland panorama. Ride to serene Lak Lake, check into your traditional lakeside wooden longhouse in Jun village, and share an evening of fireside folk stories, music, and herbal rice wine (Rượu Cần) with the M'Nong people.

Day 5

Lak Lake → Secret Mountain Backroads → Elephant Falls → Đà Lạt (160 km)

Ride winding backroads through secluded pine forests, visiting silk weaving mills, mushroom farms, and family rice wine distilleries. Descend the canyon gorge of Elephant Waterfall (Thác Voi) and stand in awe before the 71m Lady Buddha at Linh Ẩn Pagoda. Finally, conquer the high turns of Tà Nung Pass into the cool highland air of Đà Lạt.

Ride south to marvel at the magnificent Pongour Waterfall — a breathtaking 7-tiered amphitheater of cascading water. Day 7

Bảo Lộc → Bamboo Villages → Cashew Capital → Đồng Xoài (160 km)

Descend from the highland tea plateau into the red-soil rolling hills of Bình Phước. Stop at traditional bamboo weaving communities, taste tropical dragon fruits and rambutan at roadside orchards, and tour local cashew nut processing facilities. Arrive in Đồng Xoài — historically famous as the southern starting terminus of the Ho Chi Minh Trail during the war.

Day 8

Đồng Xoài → Rubber Forest Canopies → Cu Chi Tunnels → Ho Chi Minh City (140 km)

Cruise along peaceful country roads beneath towering canopies of rubber trees and achiote (curry) farms. Arrive at the world-famous Cu Chi Tunnels to explore the astonishing 200km subterranean network of living quarters, command posts, and booby traps that shaped the Vietnam War.
